Until now, it is able to get over 137 million users.
There are 3 plans on Disney Plus—monthly subscription, annual subscription, and The Disney Bundle.
The price of monthly subscription is $7.99 USD per month while the price of annual subscription is $79.99 USD per year.
Alternatively, The Disney Bundle, that has Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ costs $13.99 USD per month or $19.00 per month (no ads).
For some users, the Disney+ subscription may not be affordable.

How to get a free Disney Plus account
To get a free Disney Plus account, there are two ways, either get a Verizon Unlimited Plan or a Sky Broadband plan.
Both of them offer free Disney Plus account/subscription.
It allows you to have a subscription to Disney + for 1 year from Sky Broadband.
On the other hand, if you are a Verizon Unlimited user, you will be able to use Disney+ free for 6 months.
In addition, you can also share a Disney Plus account with others such as your friends and family.
If any of your friends use it, you can get it from them by asking for their email and password.
Method 1. Get a Sky Broadband plan
Important Note: The offer was available from June 2021 to 30 September 2022 that is why you have to get the Disney+ subscription on the Sky Marketplace.
If you are living in New Zealand and living there, you can receive Disney+ for free by purchasing a Sky broadband plan.
If you get a Sky broadband plan during this time period, it will give you a free 12-month subscription to Disney Plus.
In order to get the code, you have to sign in to your Sky account.
When you receive the code, you have to redeem it from the sign-up page of Disney+.
Another must-do task is to provide your payment information so they will renew your plan after 12 months duration.
If you want to get rid of charges, you need to cancel the trial before it reaches 12 months span.
Unluckily, if you already have a Disney Plus subscription, you will not be able to enjoy this due to eligibility restrictions.
However, you can offer the subscription to anyone as a gift such as your friends and family by providing them the code.
Method 2. Get a Verizon Unlimited plan
If you are from the United States, you can purchase a Verizon Unlimited mobile phone plan and get Disney+ for free.
The unlimited plan comes with it and you will get a free 6-month Disney Plus promotional subscription.
The subscription also contains Get more Unlimited, 5G Do More, 5G Start, Do More Unlimited, Play More Unlimited, Go Unlimited, Verizon Plan Unlimited, Beyond Unlimited, and Above Unlimited.
If you own a 5G Get More of 5G Play More plan, the Disney bundle will be offered to you without any extra charges.
- First of all, log in to your Verizon account.
- Then click on Add-ons > apps overview.
- Select Disney+ > Learn more > Get it now.
- Enter your email address.
- After that, click on “Check email”.
- Accept the terms and conditions.
- Hit the “Enroll in Disney+” option.
- Hit the “Go to Disney”.
- That is it. Create your Disney+ account.

Does Disney Plus offer a free trial?
No, Disney Plus does not offer a free trial to its users.
However, in the past, they used to offer 7-day free trial to its customers (the cost of $6.99 will be applied to it per month).
You could get rid of free trial right before the expiration date by cancelling it and prevent the charges.
In June 2020, Disney Plus decided to discontinue all the free trials.
The company was losing money due to these free trial on its subscriptions by giving them away.
According to a spokesperson, the price tag of $7.99 per month for its subscription is attracting the users.
When you look at the Netflix plans, this is slightly cheaper option as compared to Netflix that costs$9.99 per month.
Currently, there is no Disney Plus free trial available and there is no news whether it will be back or not.
However, Netflix is their biggest competitor that offers free trial to its customers only in Vietnam.
My opinion is that Disney plus can follow this attractive strategy for the users in the future too.
